WHO IS INVOLVED?
One Million Forgotten Moments features an inspired lineup of 100 artists from your city—aerialists to classical-music ensembles, video artists to dance companies to escape artists. The performers create works specifically for the event, drawing on visions of your city’s history for inspiration. These artists are guided by our production team which consists of a director, producer, theater/installation designer and sound designer.
WHEN?
The hour-long performance will take place for approximately 5 nights, with two shows a night, usually at 7pm and 9pm (number of performances and show-times TBD).
WHY?
Both Epic and intimate, One Million Forgotten Moments is a celebration of your city’s diversity and character, with a positive message for healing and a sustainable future. Both audience and performer become engaged in a sort of temporary community which creates a rare and intimate bond between the two. By creating a time and place for people to come together to celebrate and entertain each other, wow each other, make each other laugh and think, I hope in my idealistic way that I can contribute to a form of social healing and through art lead to a more productive and engaging society.
